What's your all-time biggest roller coaster in a short time?
Yeah, I know, most people here have at least one story like this to some extent. I just have to get this off my chest even though it's my bad. I'll keep it short.

I started with 3K on Tuesday and rolled it into 42K before losing it all today...my biggest loss day ever by a pretty wide margin. It was a ridiculous heater of (mostly) soccer bets until today. The stupidest thing is when I stick with football, hockey and basketball and bet small percentages I do OK and have been growing a separate bankroll slowly over the past few months. But if I let myself drift into getting crazy with amounts, sooner or later it is always easy come easy go.

Anyone else have any similar bad days or weeks to confess?

Just by "brilliant" moves like these couple of examples:

The problem is I also built it up by taking the same kinds of chances. Argentinian first half goal totals, all kinds of crazy stuff...it was all coming in. But when it all starts falling apart it's hard to escape with anything when you got there that way. At least for me.

The worst part is I know better.

a friend of mine was down to his last $78 and built it up to 5k in 2 days. He actually sent me the screenshots of his plays and I still have it saved on my pc. Unbelievable stuff guy hit 7 straight NCAA baskettball games on a saturday afternoon and followed it up with a stellar sunday where he made even more than on saturday.

Poker is slower but I effectively rolled 400 to 40,000 in a month.

Sports betting rolled $50 to $1900 in 2 days. Actually a funny story. When I was 16 my dad noticed that my savings account of about $1500 was drained to $0 and wanted to know why. After refusing to tell him what for a long time I eventually told him I was gambling. I told him I was even and he told me I had a week to put it back. At the time I had $150 in the account and made 2 str8 plays and a $50 parlay that paid $400 ish. The 2 str8 plays won and the last leg of the parlay was the Padres at home -1.5. In the bottom of the 8th the padres were down by 2 runs and I pretty much gave up, went to sleep and thought of how ****** I was. Two hours later I magically see that they covered. Next morning I did a 2 team parlay with -1.5's that was like 250/700 and then won a $950 str8 bet or something like that later that night. Called my agent and had cash in hand that night.

I started with $5000 one football season and was down to $500 by week six. I put it all on a MNF 1st half line. The kicker got hurt and the punter came in for a last second 50 yard FG attempt that I needed to cover. Amazingly he nailed it... After that I couldn't lose and in five weeks it was up to $14,000. I cashed out all but $2000, which I promptly lost...

You're a sick, sick fukk, bro. Should have withdrawn a good amount of coin to reward yourself, man. Would be on suicide watch if I was in your shoes.

I never had a big turn around like that because I don't go Allin a lot or keep doubling up in order to have big wins

Wish I could disagree but you are correct. I'll be OK (I have a lot of experience dealing with losing stupid amounts on soccer) but I know I have to remove soccer betting from my life, it is without a doubt serious -EV for me. The irony is that soccer is the only sport I bet like a maniac...it seems the rarity of the goals gets me pursuing it as a pure crazy gamble (I mostly bet totals). But sports like basketball and hockey that I understand better and have a positive ROI in, I have no trouble staying in control and betting them sensibly to 2 or 3% of bankroll. Sick indeed.

Never bet soccer. One of the worst sport to bet on. Actually it's the worst after biathlon.
