I had penguins ML up 5-4 with 5 mins left (separate bets)

I went onto my 365 account parlayed isles ML and habs ML to hedge and it paid +7800. I put $20 on it and it said odds changed so I said whatever let it ride.

Leafs 4 isles 5 OT

.. Anyone ever seen anything like this before? I even too a screen shot of them not letting me place the bet at 77x just brutal.

I feel for you man. But nothing compares to a bad beat during the MLB season when you have an Under or you have the lead going into the 9th and a 2,3 run shot or grand slam with 2 outs ruins your under and or your underdog play. Nothing is more abusive than this. Like a dagger in the heart.

I just had a crazy day with one bad beat and one recovery.

Background - I took $100 and turned it into $3,000 in February.
Tonight I bet $1,500 to win 500 (VCU & Kentucky ML).

Kentucky, blows their game. Arkansas hadnt won in Rupp since 1994. UK, coming off on OT game vs LSU - i figured would be fired up and this would be a lock. Kentucky played poorly but still should have won in regulation. Totally blow it.

I get frustrated and hear about UCLA being down their 2 best players. I take Oregon at +150 and bet 1,300 on it to win 1,800. Try to make my money back. So, i'm looking at if I lose - then I just wasted all my money that i won in february and would start over again. I just play for fun not trying to make money anyway. Still, i hate losing on bullcrap and when I do I feel like God is against me.

The UCLA - Oregon game about gave me a heart attack. When Oregon blew a 7 point lead with 30 seconds to go or whatever, 85+% foul shooters missing free throws, UCLA throwing up prayer 3s that get the game tied and head to OT. At that point I'm basically just resigned to the fact that God is influencing these games and does not want me to win. Luckily, Oregon pulled it out in OT and I ended up in total making about $300 on the day.

But still - I miss the times when I can bet big on a game and win easily. I dont think I've had one like that all year. Games that should be winners turn into either close games or losers.

I mean i grinded my way for a month, and then decided to really make a big step forward and Kentucky ****** me. A once in 20 yr event. What can you do? At that point i was frustrated and decided to go basically all in on Oregon. I dont have the patience to be a good gambler. I dont take losses well enough.

bad breaks seem like they never even out for most of us

today i had two nba plays

i had brooklyn no sweat there

i had carmello to score over 31 (200 dollar play nothing massive). think he had 24 at the half? finished with 29 pts. played like 3 min of the 4th because miami blew open the game in a 4 min span in the 3rd quarter and tim hardaway jr was trying to impress his dad and ate nuts. melo one of the best 4th quarter scorers in the league. if game was within a 15 pt range he would have finished with about 40 pts.

what i've endured though through many years of gambling nba has made me just smile at the above scenario and take it like a man and move on. of course some bad breaks sting way more than others. i've been in that place before. sleep it off and focus on something else for a little.
