#13And yet last SB was the most-watched tv program in US history
You guys are still going to tune in.
Referees are worse than ever, yet you still are watching.
Lots of idiot rule-changes, yet you are still watching.
So, who cares?Comment -

What do you think the SB ratings be if the Heat-Bulls, North Carolina - Duke, Alabama - Auburn and the Oscars were playing on TV at the same time?Comment -

Every time the NHL has a lockout again I hear the fans complaining "games are too expensive already" "even beer is expensive there" "tickets are unaffordable for families" etc. Then 1st game of the season: everthing is forgotten and fans are glad the NHL is back.
The fan could have so so much power: simply don't tune in for a few games. But that's not happening. Soccer fans in England always complain the ticket prices are WAY to high right now, yet the stadiums are full. It's laughable.
Complain and take action or shut up, that's my opinion. I stopped going to my favourite team in Germany a few years ago. I could easily pay it, but I simply refuse to do that. Does it matter? No. Would it matter if everyone does that? Yes.
As long as people are still going to the stadiums and watching the games on tv it can't be that bad.Comment -

#18Pavy, I see your point, but:

I hate it, too. Would be just another completely laughable change of rules.
And I bet the majority of the fans would hate that as well.
But then again, they will watch the games. So the NFL is right again and is again allowed to do whatever they want.
The fan could have so fukkin much power. But he just refuses to use it just once.
Same goes for all the shirts and merchandise shit. So I should buy a jersey of my favourite club with number and name for 100€ now. But that would just be the home shirt. Then you have and away and CL shirt as well. And next year there are 3 new ones, each +5€ more. But fukkin fans are buying it. You know when I bought my last one? In 2005. I'm not supporting this shit any more. Only to pay the laughable 12 million salary of some stupid assholes that just piss it away and are broke within the first 10 years after their career ended. Shit, I could buy a jersey for each day of the year, but I'm not buying a single one cause I just have had enough of being the idiot that can be milked.Comment -
