I loved Roy - guy was one of the best interviewers ever. Used to watch Up Close religiously. Didn't matter who he was interviewing, he always made it interesting.

Roy Firestone
He developed media-career ending All-Timers disease. He was last seen bringing himself to tears doing a self-
interview all while walking in circles around the pool at the Swimmers Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
It brings me to tears to see what has become of this legendary man with a once proud photographic memory
concerning anything and everything sports related.
Roy Firestone, you are dearly missed ....
