This is key. And why I ultimately decided to pursue a legitimate career 15 years ago. You might think that's your boy, but when one of these weak kids' freedom comes into question, you ain't boys no more. Only fear of death can sway and I didn't want to be in that business. My best friend who I turned over everything to when I got out of the game got popped for a third time, turned rat and is now dead. Wrong. The markup is over 500% of street price. 90% of the people who smoke will continue to buy from their dealers. Any newcomers trying it for the first time will find dealers. No one would pay those type of prices for marijuana at that price. The only market is for edibles long term. You probably have 1-5% of your target demographic buying from shops.

My my understanding is that a legal Colorado eighth of awesome pot cost $63-$70. How is this a 500% increase from what you can get of similar quality elsewhere? So you're saying you can get dank for $12.50 an eighth?

Im not in Colorado so it's speculation but I've read they are selling from $250-400 an ounce. A quick google search will yield this....
