I hate violence, but like home plate collisions. Good point about catchers though, they are often an underestimated part of a team's/pitchers success. LaRussa never hesitates to call Molina the most valuable player on his great Cardinals teams.
Mixed feelings, like the physicality of the collisions, but catchers have to endure enough shit behind the plate to be sitting targets for some meathead to plow through them while they are simultaneously trying to catch a ball and apply a tag.Comment
