The bottom 3 spots will be up for grabs between 5 teams (Golden State, Phoenix, Dallas, Memphis, and Minnesota). The way I see it, it's a race to the 47 win mark. 48 gets in for sure, 47 takes a 7/8 seed, and 45 or fewer is left on the outside.


Look for the T-Wolves to make a push. They are the biggest long-shot of the 5 but I like their chances. They will go on a run now that the Kevin Love trade talks are in the rear view window.

TWolves are good, but I'm not sure they are going to get healthy enough to make that run. When they are healthy they are a playoff team, problem is they probably won't get healthy in time to make a run.

Of the teams currently in the playoffs, I only see one missing the playoffs (either GS, Portland, Dallas, PHX). Memphis will make a run before the TWolves. Memphis is better than Minnesota, and they are 4 games ahead of Minnesota.

As I write this I'm watching the Wolves totally implode.
