Oklahoma City Thunder Doesn't Have Enough Bench Scoring
Okhlahoma City isn't going to win the NBA title this year again either. I don't care of KD and Westbrook are 100% healthy and Ibaka hits 68% of his mid range jumpers the rest of the way. Depth wise, off the bench, they don't have enough offense to keep up with the other elite teams that do - like Miami, Indiana or San Antonio.

Case in point, they are playing the Los Angeles Clippers today and leading 40-32 with 9:00 to go in the second quarter. They finally give Kevin Durant a rest for the first time in the game and Westbrook is on the bench resting because they are trying to ease him back in.

Within 1:50 the Clippers go on a 9-0 run and the OKC unit of Reggie Jackson, Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Jeremy Lamb and Derek Fisher go 0 for 5 from the field. Just like that the 8 point lead is erased and Scott Brooks barely gets to rest Durant for 5 minutes before he has to put him back in the game.

Other elite teams' second units are going to annihilate Oklahoma City's....they really should have traded for Aaron Afflalo when they had the chance.

perfect example of why Clippers are vulnerable, Blake is a liability with free throws in tight games it will cost them eventually

Wow you guys are really morons. You are blaming starters that are all-world talents for OKC's loss without realizing how much of a team game this is. Their starters can't go out and play 48 minutes a night and keep producing at an all-world pace.

They lack bench depth. As evidenced by what I said happened in the Clipper game today.

Jeff Green or Aaron Afflalo would have been perfect for this team to trade for.....especially Jeff Green.
