The Bid is for buyers and the ASK is for sellers.

I could see an opening BID of 7 and an opening ASK of 8. Meaning there are buyers at 7 points and there are sellers at 8 points.

We will see how it plays out.

I don't think 7 will be enough, any one who needs a quick profit will be guys with loans etc. So I think 8 would be the key number. The question then becomes are there going to be enough of those people to devalue the holdings?

Also the first week is key for any IPO. If your hedge managers have poor or even marginal performance investors will become shaky. Could signal a plummet in pricing and a fire sale. Remember the people we're talking about here, most of our investor base is guys who don't go to bed so they can play Japanese sports because they need action .


I know this is a test run and everything but I think we need a Prime Stock and Public Stock IPO. Prime stock would be a limited commodity say 10000 shares @20 points a share at open. Which would keep the Main IPO healthy and diversely not be directly affected by the more risk adverse & flighty public.

Yes. Once the IPO closes there will be a set number of shares. For example lets say there are 10,000 shares sold at 6 for a total of 60,000 points. SBR will add 40,000 points making the Net Asset Value of each share worth exactly 10 points. At that point the managers will be managing 100,000 points. Buyers and sellers will then determine what they are willing to buy and sell for keeping in mind that SBR will settle and pay out all shares at Net Asset Value on June 1st.
