OK State @ Baylor: Which wreck of a team gets back into Tourney position?

Both teams have really been a mess after strong starts. Baylor is starting to show some signs of life while Oklahoma State seems to be doomed to miss the tournament despite being a consensus top 4 seed just a few weeks back.


Both are bubble teams at this point. Whoever wins tonight's game could do themselves a lot of help as far as getting back into the Field of 64 while the loser will have a lot of work to do over the last 3 weeks.


Baylor is -5.5. Marcus Smart still has one game remaining on his 3 game suspension. I think 5.5 is too many points but OK State might be a lost cause at this point.

could be a solid Baylor win but I think more likely baylor lets them in it one way or another by the final minutes

Baylor IMO is not a team who should be laying almost 6 points. This looks like a nicely set up trap in my eyes. Everybody and their mother will be on Baylor tonight just because Okie st is missing a player but they've now played 2 game without him and have had more days of practice without him so maybe they're adjusting better with more practice days. Books have already moved this 2 points in favor of Baylor because of such lopsided action. Also underdog is 4-1 in last 5 meetings between these 2 teams. Baylor has beaten up tcu which everyone does so that's not impressive. They did beat k state but it went into overtime and I believe k state is much better playing at home, impressive win though for Baylor. Okie st was smashed by Texas which was their 1st game without smart, but next game versus Oklahoma they only lost by 3. Baylor lost to Oklahoma by 16 a couple weeks ago before beating up tcu. So this is a great by low on okie st and sell high on Baylor spot IMO or Baylor comes out and just torches okie st.

I thought okie lite would rally the troops and beat sooners, think line too high cause both coaches are scrubs, neither team that good, really seems like a toss up on winner so 5.5 feels like a lot but i worry bout their mindset after blowing last gm.. Think I like over best but lean okie lite as well..

Same here. 5.5 or 6 way too much to lay with Baylor. Special Olympics-level coaches on both benches in this one.

Don't see how anyone can bet this game. Two horrible teams in a tailspin. At least Baylor has some momentum after that win. But you'd have to be high as hell to take Baylor favored by that much. At same time, no way can you back Okie St. Team is totally falling apart. If they had any chance of showing life it would have been a couple days ago at home against the rival Sooners. This is an untouchable game imo.
