congrats for kevin averaging 13.2 rebounds a game this season playing 36 minutes a game but this is a completely different system/scenario tonight. blake griffin is starting center that will put love on 6'8 anthony or 6'8 paul george. either way he will be playing a lot away from his own rim.

the west has a great mix of forwards that will see time tonight. love, griffin, aldridge, howard, dirk and most importantly anthony davis the only pelican who should see at least 15 minutes. they will all be used of course and i predict 27 minutes of action for love. last year only one player on the west saw more than 30 minutes and that was durant.

this is my prop bet of the year because i have love capped at 27 minutes and 7 rebounds

note: in the past 5 NBA all star games combined only 3 players have pulled in more than 10 rebounds

yes benjy i have. last 2 years averaged 46 total rebounds a game for the west. so lets say they get 50 rebounds today. then love would have to pull in a quarter of all rebounds to lose this bet. how will he do that when hes not even playing center (griffin,howard,davis) and very likely wont play more than 30 minutes

they have to give dirk his minutes, and if they want to win they play aldridge. and dwight howard will play center for a good amount. just dont see the minutes available here

Odd that Love is hanging under the rim.

Curious where the 3 of 5 that got more than 10 rebounds were playing. It's not as if there's a ton of banging going on by the basket - either open threes or dunks for the most part - not a typical rebounding game.
