There could be 200 6/6 winners and they split the carryover it doesn't have to be only one ticket, that makes no senseComment -

#109the carryover is paid out when there is a single winning ticket
on days with multiple winning tickets ( except mandatory payout days) 30% goes to the carryover and the rest gets split up among the winning ticketsComment -

#110Hold on, I believe the carryover is only used in situations where not all races are hit by at least one ticket. So a pick 6 with the highest winner being a 5/6 gets some of the pot split among all tickets with 5/6 and then they carryover.

Jake is correct below your post.
What you are saying is correct at most tracks (and here on p4s etc...). However, the Rainbow P6 at Gulfstream requires 1 single winning ticket to payout the entire pot, or on the last day of the meet it gets all paid out among all winners that day.Comment -

#111If you go look at the results each day at Gulfstream you will see that it has probably been hit 6/6 each day, but the carryover keeps building because multiple people are hitting it each dayComment -

#114Gulfstream is the only track so far to offer this type of wager (Rainbow P6). When Del Mar starts in July, watch and see how many carryovers they have that exceed one million dollars in their Pick 6. TVG has it set up so that the First Race at Del Mar coincides with the Last Race at Saratoga, so the people wagering at the Spa can just keep watching and wager on the P6 and other wagers at Del Mar.Comment -

#117Look it up, but I think the P6 was hit at Gulfstream with a single ticket, and 2 minutes after the race ended they put an inquiry sign up, and DQ'd the horse.Travesty.Comment -

#122Travisty. Terrible. The poor guy was on T.V. excited thinking he made 1.3 million. I feel so bad for the gentleman
He really deserved it. I can only think of one other person this would happen to. What's his name Brock Landers? or something.Comment -

#123That is insane, feel horrible for the guy. If the Favorite in the 8th dylan ward, came 3rd beaten 2 lengths wins I have 6/6 on my ticket. I can't imagine how that guy feels ted. They interviewed him before the race was official?Comment -

#134Is it possible to turn a profit with a rebate book? At racing2day they payout a 9% bonus on your winnings. I know the takeout is 15-20%, but does anyone have any strategies to turn a profit with a rebate?Comment -
