I spotted Boater a while ago and think he is very good at all aspects of posting

Boater SBR Players Talk is basically miniscule to SBR , its way bigger than that and especially internationally now

Most other places the forum is all they have ...SBR odds and Points is very very big across globe and of course the widely popular ratings service that shows up all over google

Boater a big misconception of me is I am just a clown, many get fooled. I am an international sports book expert and a line service expert

    I consult for Johnny

Brocks popularity is for the wrong reasons..scamming, etc

I would be gone in 1 minute from here if I was involved in gambling and scamming posters

SBR does not represent that..I like Brock not a bad guy and a good poster

SBR's branding is really geared towards the international market now.

99% of us in players talk have no idea what is really going on outside of here.

99% of what is going on in SBR is happening outside of PT

John just allows this little circus to run here for old time's sakes and his soft heart

Lol at JJ implying that all other forums have is the actual forum it's self.

Come on Gold, that dog don't hunt.

            We BOTH know the Skinny.

Sell it to the masses but don't even try that with me.

              Oh without a doubt.

But after all those views what is in the offering plate?

Heck a kid popping a boil on his back via you tube gets 250k views. Kid is still a kid and has no money.

But by and large the posters at SBR are younger than those who frequent other forums with the possible exception being Covers.

Everyone has their niche market. SBR's is the market who is atracted to JJ.

I love JJ's work. Like I said, no one in all of forum land has the following he does. NO ONE. But the following does fit a certain demographic.

As far as "you guys" sizing up. I speak for no one other than myself and certainly don't post here or anyhwere outside of EOG as a representive of EOG.

Speaking of posting outside of ones home forum, why don't you drop by sometime John?

                Love to have ya.

                It's all good.
I don't enjoy posting anywhere else. All my buds are here.

You put too much emphasis on guessing demographics. If forum A attracts 1000 gamblers and site B attracts 100 the ratio of large players will be roughly the same. Big players at SBR a lot of times do not participate in the points the same way as wealthy travelers could care less about miles.

If I was at the EOG I would leverage up the radio show into prime time and develop contest software. If you guys are going to stick your necks out and deal with US bookies/clients you need some good software. Running a contest in a thread is like pre school with big crayons.

                    .
Fair enough I guess. But maybe you could make some new friends? My guess is you feel it would somehow show a sign of weakness to do so, or you would be helping the other team. That's a shame. I have never understood the Us vs Them mentaility in any walk of life.

Only demographic I have "guessed" at is the Demo that follows JJ, and we both know I am 100% spot on. The 48 year old CPA who has a Pinnacle account and wagers 2500 a game isn't leaving a forum to follow JJ. Chances are he seldom reads his threads.

I would tend to agree if the contest is a multy week contest, but for what I do where the contest is one day and gives away a tv or a bar of silver or a simpe prize like that, the format is perfect. I can put it all togather in 15 mins, grade it in 5, send a
PM to the winner and have the prize on it's way to them the next day. But yes some advanced software would be nice to "look at" but after all is said and done would be nothing more than window dressing. People entered would remain the same, prize would remain the same. But yea it would look good........

Been good, and thanx for asking. And you?

I have nothing to do with the radio show. Not sure how it all fits into the puzzle. I know Posters seem to enjoy tuning in, and from time to time a poster comes on. It's fun.

                      Fun is good.

yes but in Boat's case he has pre-schoolers that like to use turds in the threads instead of crayons and he has to clean it up.

I will say that way back in 2008 the reason I finally signed up to post was one of those contests in a thread format.

I'd been reading for awhile after doing research on sportsbook.com and I saw LT Profits had a month long baseball contest, so I signed up.

I did 2-3 of those month long contests where LT would grade up to 3 picks a day by about 40-75 posters and keep a running total.

I say this not to talk about the actual contest in a thread idea.

but to give big props to

                        LT Profits!!!!

Boater always dangerous to know "100%" when you don't actually know.

Back in the old days the Shrink posted here and I posted there. It's a waste of time to post elsewhere. This is a business for me not a hobby.

I either grossly misread you or you have become much sharper through the years. If I failed to apologize for giving you a hard time once upon a time I do so now. Even though you still bust on me you are one of the more informed.
