This might be the worst sport in the world. I'm watching the Russia/japan game on tv and it is worse than watching real housewives of anything with my wife. Russia who is supposed to be a good national team battling for bronze looks like a bunch of non talent lesbians. And the Japanese team can barely fukking skate. And to add insult to injury the refs took away a Japanese goal. How is a team (japan) in the Olympics if they haven't scored a goal since 2006 or 2008. Just shows how piss poor this is. I say get rid of it and bring back wrestling and change it to Winter Olympics and get rid of this shit. Slower than women's bball and it's on ice. Go figure.

Canada and America are the only two countries in the whole world with properly developed woman's hockey programs. That is pretty much just accepted as a fact. One year Sweden won silver and it shocked the world.
USA IS BETTER THAN CANADA IN WOMAN'S HOCKEY THIS YEAR!!!! They have met several times in 2013 and USA has pumped them. That being said, Canada has a real knack for killing it on the hockey big stage. That is one reputation we have certainly earned.

I watched it twice in my life. Once I was at my grandpa and it was nothing to do there but to watch TV. Nothing on TV either until I switched to a channel which broadcasted some female hockey match. Watching 1 minute in and a stoppage of play. One player holding her hand as if it's broken. She takes her glove off. Huh? Apparently she broke her nail. I'm not sure who laughed more, me or the PBP announcers. The other time it was our national team playing and I know some girls in the team so I watched it for a while. Was painful to watch and didn't look much like hockey. Some things are just not meant to be watched for NHL fanatics.Originally posted by El Nino
