For all you dummies complaining about Brady never having an elite receiver there's a great reason why. Bellicheat has a system that he has been using since day one on offense. His system involves throwing between the numbers, only go deep when necessary. This is why year after year the Patriots has perfected the utilization of the tight end, slot receivers and short screens to the back. fyi the pats cant just sign fitzgerald...they have to trade for him....and in fact last year they inquired about him....

take megatron, andre, fitz, aj green, julio.....the pats are never in a position to draft guys like that....unless they want to pay an arm and a leg to move up......exceptions being guys like dez and d thomas......the pats have traded for moss which was a brilliant move at the time....theyve brought in some guys like torry holt(who was at the end of his career) and chad johnson....taking some fliers on once brilliant receivers at a bargain rate.....theyve spent some picks on guys like bethel johnson, chad jackson, and dobson(who havent panned out)......

landing elite receivers isnt an easy proposition when yer winning like 12 games every year

Denver is now 0-2 against Seattle for 2013-14. Now who is who'se biotch now? They will get their a**es kicked in Seattle next season. They also get another butt kicking when they go to New England. For Denver, it is nowheres but DOWN for them. Manning's health is rather questionable now, and he certainly has no more than one season left.
