i'll answer that JJ - there might be a player mutiny on the horizon that has been building for some time, or perhaps he and the star player on the team are at odds. point is, they are only .5 games out of the 8th playoff spot. they can still salvage the season. often times when a lame duck coach is let go midseason, the team gets a spark out of it and goes on a run.

i predict the detroit pistons end up getting into the playoffs in the crappy eastern conf now, mainly due to a resurgence of the team due to this firing

I give the new owner credit. Yes, make changes middle of season.... All Star break near... make new moves... new rules. Team has so much more potential. Has anyone taken a real good look at Cheeks during a timeout... his facial expressions? He doesn't care. Really surprised at his actions... he totally sucks.

And yes Josh Smith needs to go as well. Horrible player.

The Clippers aren't based in the poorest city in the country. They also cut the dead weight and cancers to the franchise and drafted an excitable and marketable player in Griffin. They then signed the best PG in the league to help take the team to the next level.

joe dumars should be fired, living off a title from 10 years ago.

he makes a terrible hire with cheeks, whos sucked everywhere, signs head cases like jennings and josh smith this off season, team is effing joke.

i still think its weird that hes canned after 2 good wins.
