None of this means a thing, because half of these kids will never play a down in their college careers. Some will flunk out. Others will be arrested and kicked out. Still others will suffer injuries. Then there are those who just were rated way too high and who simply do not have it, especially mentally, to play college football. Let's face it. You do not have to be very bright to play football in the SEC, unless you play for Vandy. The rest of the conference has truoble spelling D-U-M-B. These kids are way over-ranked for a reason. Now if you really want to find the big winners and losers, look at the teams that did much better than expected and much worse. In the Pac 12, USC was the huge winner, and UCLA was the huge loser. Bad news for UCLA. If they cannot out recruit USC after two straight wins, they are in major trouble. Oregon also did poorly. This is probably their "do or die" season. They have no one to replace Mariota, who is basically their entire offense.

More sec players in the nfl by a wide margin couldn't say they are over ranked.
