When do the big players place their bets?

I often use overnight lines at 5dimes because of the reduced juice, but what I'm gaining in savings im losing out on information.

I imagine big time sharps place their bets riht before gametime, when they have all the roster and betting info up to date. It gets annoying when your teams star player is ruled out an hour before gametime and you're stuck with a losing ticket
