    57 fukkin days boys.
56 if you count the BS opening game in Australia on the 30th, which is a total fkn joke to me by the way.
But actual opening day this year is March 31st.

Baseball is the greatest sport on earth, all these other sports are just to kill time in MLB's offseason.
Even if you only have a minor league team in your area, take your kids to a game this year.
    Best experience they could have.
And if you don't like baseball, that just means you most likely sucked at it when you were a kid.

What teams are gonna make the big jump this year and contend? Royals? Seattle?

I like the Nationals this year on the rebound of a flop from last year.
Lot of high expectations going into last season with a young team and they choked it off.
Now this year, less pressure, no one expects much.
Made a couple solid moves, they got my boy Fister with a steal of a move from the Tigers. Should be the best #4 starter in MLB this year. That staff is insane deep.
Nationals making a run this year, watch out!!

if i subtract cubs day games (there is always some fukking angle about the wind that i fall for) i might finally have a winning MLB season. i am not too good, but i enjoy it

            Benny good thread man.

I like the Mariners and D-Backs to be the surprise teams to contend for
            division titles...

I agree the Nationals look great on paper but i disagree that no one is expecting them to do much...
Vegas actually has them as the favorite to win the National League Pennant.

If I had to pick a team to win it all i would go with St Louis Cardinals.

                can't wait!

as a life long bucco fan, last year was the best year i've had as a fan in all of my adulthood.

not much better than having early games to bet on in get away days and solid action every day

most fun to cap as far as looking at trends and stats as well for me.

I don't think Seattle does well at all.
But I also want to see Cano rot and lose 100 games because he's a piece of shit either way, always hated him and his half-ass attitude towards the game of MLB.
He's one disrespectful fukk in my eyes, and doesn't deserve the talent he was gifted with along with being able to wear a Major League Baseball uniform never giving 100%.

I am surprised to hear the Nats are actually the favs again.
Figured they would be about 5th favorite to come out of the NL.

How are the Dodgers not favored? That's hard to believe.

It's the best time of the year for gambling

-103 lines on pinnacle, games all day everyday. I only watch the highlights and check scores on my phone, there's no local team around here and I cannot watch it on TV

it's about damn time the MLB went to Australia, show them what a real sport looks like

                      and the Cubs,

The Tigers might actually be a good team to fade to start the season...

new coach, possibly no Verlander to begin the season, and who knows if anyone in that line-up can protect Miggy...

Tigers will make the playoffs for sure but i can see them getting off to a slow start.

the Mariners pitching rotation is pretty nasty though with King Felix, Iwakuma, Walker, and Paxton.

oh yeah you are right Dodgers are the favorite but Vegas has Dodgers, Nationals and Red Sox as the top 3.

Yup. And we prob won't see syndergard because of what happened to Harvey as well. I'm sure they aren't gonna rush this kid, even though I don't believe in babying players like that. Grip it n rip it, they all get injuries.
They babied strapsburg he still tore his arm up.

You won't see Noah until later in the season because of MLB service time/player control issues; it has nothing to do with Harvey's injury.
