I remember it like it was yesterday, Superbowl 13. This day will never be forgotten by many. The Steelers opened as 4.5 favorites over the Cowboys and the number dropped to 3.5 with early action on the Cowboys. Even though Dallas lost the game 35-31, early bettors like myself on the Cowboys were able to cash, and closing line bettors on the Steelers such as The Giant were able to cash. To this day Superbowl 13 is considered Black Sunday for most sportsbooks, as nothing like this has happened in the big game since.

Share your story from that day. Where were you? Will This ever happen again?

I was in fifth or sixth grade, I was and still am a Giant fan, my father hated the Cowboys, so I hated the Cowboys, still do.
Way too young to gamble then, but remembering rooting for the Steelers, because of the hatred for Dallas.
Remember it was a good game.

Did not understand what Black Sunday was all about until a few years later.

I was 14 years old and in Middle School taking small action.

One schoolmate of mine bet me $60 On The game.

          He had Pitt -4.5.

Dallas came back with 2 TD's and cover the points for me.

          His Dad was a bookmaker!

He came to school thinking he was a winner!

I guess he didn't understand the -4.5 mad him a loser.

Anyways I told him I wanted MY MONEY!

He said he wasn't going to pay me.

I said "I want my money"

After a few days I called his house and his Dad answered the Phone.

He dad said the Kid should not have bet at his age with anyone.

He said to me if i have a problem with that come see Him.

So went to the house thinking the father would pay me.

He wouldn't listen to word I was going to say.

Told me to get the fuk off his porch.

Well I was 14 years old so I wasn't going to mess with him.

Many years later his dad ended Up owing me a bit of money!.

I never knew it was him I was dealing with.

Anyways being much older and You Know the Story!

          I GOT MY MONEY!
