What is your favorite playoff games to bet?

Do you guys like betting the home team in the first game of the first round? Or do you wait until the second game of the first round and hit the home team?

Or none of the above? Something else entirely all together? You guys like betting down the stretch when you know what teams are playing for?

I tend to bet home teams the first two games of the first two rounds, with more regularity and consistency than any other time of the year. I don't have the database to see the exact numbers but over the last 7-8 years, it seems that strategy has worked well and been profitable.

I always do better in the playoffs for some reason than regular season, so I'm looking forward to it and already salivating. Wonder if you guys feel the same way

Teams show up for playoffs. Better teams win more consistently when they show up! Easier to cap

I tend to agree, but it seems like home teams do especially well in their first home game. Especially if down 2-0 and going home for game 3, it seems the home team wins with a pretty high regularity. Could be wrong

I don't really have a set strategy for the playoffs, Kraken. I know some people believe in the zigzag theory, but I typically just treat each game has its own individual entity.

More value in the first game than ANY game of a playoff series, hands down.
Lines from games 2 through 7 are going to be set accordingly after the first game if it needs adjusting.
The first one is where they can be way off on a line. Also the best spot for the dogs to steal one at a big price.
Made a killing on first games last year. Bet more game 1's than any other spot.

I think you just have to get a feel for the series. When I look at my results last year there are some series where I won huge and a couple where I lost huge (had a very good playoffs overall). Not many in the middle.
