Havent watched a single NFL post season game and not planning to either.

Used to really enjoy watching this sport (was painful enough during regular season) but the quantity of commercials is at the stage where id rather look elsewhere for my sports fix and to be honest i dont miss it anywhere near as much as i thought i would.

Some of us dont have 3.5-4 hours to waste on something that actually has a total playing time of 60 minutes.

Testing the waters here to see if im the only guy who thinks this (im sure im not)..

NFL is boring. People complain about the end of NBA games slowing down due to fouls, but that's not every game and at least it only happens during one quarter. Every NFL game will have two or three 5-7 minute stretches where NOTHING happens at random due to video replay.

The commercials during NFL games are also aimed at people with lower IQs than other leagues. I swear, they make them for community college dropouts.

I love the NFL, but the commercials are ridiculous. I love the game and endure the commercials, but if you weren't born into it I can certainly understand your feelings.

Only can watch the playoffs. One thing I don't like is how players are not allowed to play defence. Too many pi calls. This postseason has been better but in general its not good. The commercials are time to post.

Vinnie how can you sit through all those commercials??

I mean if there were just 1 or 2 10 second commercials then i could watch but its at the stage where it takes several minutes between when a TD is scored to when the other team kicks off once again after the PAT.

Coach we have 1 or 2 (at most) 10-15 second commercials between goals.

That is tolerable. Cutting away for 2-3 minutes at a time when your trying to get into the game is SO frustrating that it turns this guy away from the game.

Liver, never really got into soccer (live in aussie rules country) but just this fact alone means im watching it more these days.

Yeah their kicking a ball around but its quite an intricate sport...

Commercials are brutal but that's why we have a remote to change the channel for a few minutes. NBC is the worst, every break in play they cut to commercial.

whats funny is that games might run 10 minutes longer than they did 20 years ago...and of course before there was replay which has definitely extended the games

shockingly no one points out that most of this is in op's head....the sport is far more commercialized and the nfl's been a joke for a while but it's not because there are more commercials....there is a difference
