    Question for las vegas books
Hello all, im glad i found this forum hopefully you guys can help me out here, keep it short and simple i want to head to vegas in april
to place a wager of 50k on a baseball team, but heres the problem.. whats the limit? before i have to show id? or pay taxes also i want to b present at the game so that means flying out back to the east coast? can i place it a day before? what do you guys suggest, ive been gambling for years but wont trust an offshore sportsbook with this type of amount. i know its early but Its the first home game, im plunking down the 50k even if its -110 or -200 and no im a season ticket holder and need to be at the game.

go to a cantor based book and ask to speak to a manager.. if not you might have to lay it a few places.. but i am pretty positive cantor will take it.. if not you should be able to get 20k down at a few places pretty easy...

LVH for sure will take at least 20k on this game

The lines are not even up yet. When they are you can not get 50k on the game in one spot. If you bet 10k they will want ID

Last time in Vegas i wanted to do just a few Thousand nowhere near this and i could not find anyone that would do it. So i don't know if this will be easy to find.

The M will always take large wagers on football and most basketball but baseball scares most books so I am not sure if you can do it for baseball

                            $50K

For 99% of us the bet should be spread-around...

Speak with the book manager. If you have a place that you regularly stay at, they will probably increase their limit on the game but you more than likely will have to spread it out over a few books. I would suggest betting in 4k increments to avoid the tax man. Once the collect amount hits, they will start asking for ID, SS, etc so play it in several spots. Just get a taxi to take you around to the 12 places and have him wait for you at the front door. The lines should be up 2-3 days before opening day, so you will have time to shop the price. BOL

Simple go into the sportsbook walk up to the counter and place the bet if they take you bet it if not they will just say no.

yeah he wants to drop 50K no matter what the line is and he wants to do it in April where the game will likely be decided by the bullpens.

And he wants to be present at the game at which he is a season ticket holder.... So this is clearly a 50,000 "action" bet.

                                    To the OP,

Brah wtf if you are serious about betting 50K just stay in Vegas so you can collect your winnings.

Its going to be a pain in the ass to mail that bet slip back to the Casino and wait 2 weeks for your $50,000 check. You just go pick up your 50K cash at the casino and that way you have the opportunity to put 100K on the next game of the series.
