Iowa and Michigan State were both much more athletic

i know the Barn is a tough place to play but i would like to think the Buckeyes won't lose 3 straight games.

There is virtually no distance between the crowd and the court and the court is raised above the crowd level.

its a very odd place to play but i think Buckeyes may get it done...

need to make sure the Buckeyes arent a public play before pulling the trigger though

I like the angle of OSU coming off of 2 losses, and Minn coming off a tough OT loss...

this game is on espn. I just get a little nervous being on the public road favorite.

But since the Buckeyes already lost 2 straight i think they come out sharp tonight.

if its 65% money on Buckeyes then no big deal.

But if i see 80% or more money on a certain side i avoid that side at all cost...

unless i'm fading southern utah in a non tv game

Buckeye fan living in Columbus and I just don't have a whole lot of faith in this team right now. Matta plays a terrible nonconference schedule every year but it was even worse than normal this year so it could take them some time to adjust to the bump up in competition.

Everyone talks about their defense and for good reason, probably top 3 in the country in terms of perimeter D but they gave a lackluster effort on Sunday. It was the most points they have given up in 6 years so maybe its a wakeup call but to me it confirms what I suspected and that is they are too thin in the post with no consistent scorers on O.

I could see Ross elevating his game as the season progresses because he is certainly capable but not sure he has that 'killer' instinct you often see in big-time scorers. He played great in the tourney last year but he also had Deshaun Thomas taking attention off of him and he has had trouble adjusting to being the guys that's expected to score. You would never see Deshaun Thomas on the bench in a close game for obvious reasons yet Ross has found himself on the bench in tight games because of how inconsistent he can be.

Iowa is a very talented team but it was an uncharacteristic effort by Ohio State although some of the Iowa's success was strictly based on their size advantage and not the lack of effort from OSU.

Bear--the court is penetrating crazy....players jumping off a cliff....but I agree OSU matches up well here...taller guards we shoot better...inside about the same...will be close but I think OSU gets the edge...

Their size and quick passing was impressive...personally im surprised people don't give IOWA more respect..they are are a quality team
