I just wish more top teams would go back to actually building teams and not just stacked with "one-and-done" freshman. One-and-done has been ruining college basketball for a while now.

Look at a team like Michigan State. Izzo actually builds teams made up of kids that care about staying more than one year in college. Then they play pretty damn well after they get a couple of years of college level basketball.

Maybe I'm just pissed because I stayed up later than I planned to only to see my Kentucky ATS bet go up in flames (I bet Kentucky a few times a year because of their so-called “talent”, even though I hate them), when I should have been asleep so I can drive an hour to my college in about 7 hours from now.

It was a great game. I am one of the skeptics that think refs have an extreme say in game like this but either way Kentucky battled so much despite both teams shooting 539 free throws. great game to watch and great ending.

Only thing that game missed was a Dick Vitale Closeout

Pretty good game......but the referees butchered the flow of this game. I think Arkansas was the beneficiary of more calls, but some bad ones the other way too. The Polson foul on his offensive rebound was absolutely atrocious. Guy battles, gets airborn, beats the defender to the spot by 2 steps, the Arkansas player runs into him, and gets rewarded. That 4 point swing deemed insurmountable. If the refs swallowed their whistles, this would have been a FANTASTIC game, not just a pretty good game.

It was more great awareness, then a great play. 3 Kentucky players all stop around and watched the shot, and Quarrles got to the rim without a body even touching him. Great awareness though!

See I disagree. IF the refs swallowed their whistles than Uk would have won by 5+. The free throws kept Arkansas in the game and whenever you keep a team in the game for the first half...the 2nd half is always an even playing field
