Tennis odds feeds can be tricky, I know sports Options and Don BEst have them but those are pay services so you expect to have them . I will forward to techs today Benny.

I can understand I guess lagging on tennis a little bit but it's the Australian Open for crying out loud.

Seriously, we can't get timely line posts on Major events?

Glad to see I couldn't even get a response.
I could have even settled for a "go fk yourself, no one bets tennis" reply from you.

Fact is, Tennis gets TONS of action though.

GO FK YOURSELF, NO ONE BETS TENNIS!!!

Tennis does get a lot of action but from what I recall when I asked about this before - keeping in mind I was on vacay for 5 months so things may have changed now - the feed issues aren't on SBR's end. I'm not a techie so I'm probably saying this wrong but it was more about when the books made them available to be fed through and that was causing delays because SBR was always trying to get them. I know what you mean though... if ever that the tennis lines should be up quickly it should be during a Slam, one of the largest betting events worldwide. As you can tell from my verbage though, it's not like I'm a tech genius so I may have screwed up the fineprint somewhat but I do know this was something SBR's been working to perfect for awhile. It seems that even at some sportsbooks tennis is a bit of a problem. No clue why.

Yeah, this sucks looking up lines on one or 2 books.
Obviously like to watch lines and see where the money is going.
I can understand having to maybe do some more legwork on my own for smaller tournies, but at least majors would be nice to see posted in a timely matter.

I think we should upgrade tennis odds

                        Can't be that hard

DB and Sports Options have the tennis feed

I totally agree. I'm not sure if it's because there are so many matches and books all fiddle with the start times or what the go is. But it's been an issue for awhile and I know it's one that the techs were looking at months ago so I can only assume the same problem still exists as any decent gambler - even someone who hates tennis - knows that this is one of the biggest turnovers in betting dollars per year. (Other than JJ a couple of years ago of course when he argued with myself and Yiser about that, but I digress.)

I'll mention it again and copy and paste the response I get so you're not stuck with my garbled wannabe Steve Jobs talk. You know how I feel about tennis of all sports so it's something I'd obviously hope would be perfect, especially with the breakdown of how many international posters are here, so I'll try my best to get you a proper answer. And hopefully a fix of some sort!!

Opening odds are way off in sbr odds. The opening odds that sbr odds lists are the odds at the time sbr odds releases the lines...they are not real opening lines. For tennis, they release the lines so late that the real opening odds of the books and the sbr listed opening odds for that book are way off.
