If the broncos end up being -1.5 vs Seattle I may go all in for the first time ever.

You pretty much have to bet the NFC in the Super Bowl, don't you?

The NFC has far more complete teams, so yeah probably.
I want Welker to get a ring though.

Agree and Seattle will be favored over Denver for sure baring injuries or something freaky happening. Just look at the futures, Seattle favorite to win it all(by a little) and have perceived tougher game to get there = they are favored over Denver.

MoneyLineDawg, I think the lines for Broncos vs 49ers and Broncos vs Seahawks should be flipped (so Broncos -3 vs Seahawks and Broncos -1.5 vs 49ers). Both teams are very, very similar but 49ers are typically a better road team (even though a Super Bowl venue and "Road Game" are different). The Seahawks are very good, but that powerful 12th man helps them a good bit.
49ers -3.5 vs Patriots and Seahawks -2.5 vs Patriots.
I know everyone loves offense but the value like Giant said is in NFC if they are + anything.
Niners shouldn't be a dog in the superbowl much less near pick em at Seattle right now.

Heritage lists the NFC -1.5 for the SB. Not sure the formula they use to get that.

5dimes has only a ML on possible matchups, and I wind strange that SF is bigger fave vs patriots than Seattle. ML would translate to these spreads:
SF -3.5 NE
Sea -3 NE
Den -2.5 SF
Sea -1.5 Den

I honestly think a DEN vs SEA super bowl would be pk. The line might move to DEN -1.5 with public action but I think the opening line should be a pick em if thats the matchup. Basically explosive offense vs. explosive defense....they just matchup so well

well a lot can change if anyone has a big victory this week but
49ers / bronc = pk
sea / bronc = bronc -1 (no 12th man here)
49ers / NE = 49ers -3/3.5 (3 will be juiced -120ish)
sea / NE = sea -2.5 (again no 12th man and NE stock will rise with a win @ denver)

Obviously I'm in the minority but I think Seattle gets exposed if they make it to SB.

Niners a more balanced road team but outside @NY should be advantage Seattle should they make it.
Turnovers win games and these ballhawks are well proven even on the road.

How would the Seahawks be 4 point dogs in the Super Bowl when they are faves to win it right now??

Basically, you have the two complete teams (NFC) and the two Super Star Teams (AFC). Either Brady or Manning can carry their teams to a victory over the NFC West teams, but the NFC West teams have overall better performers.

Similar to Colts. vs Bears in 2007, no? Seattle is better than that Chicago, but I think Peyton knows how to figure out a strong defense. To beat him you have to score lot of points (Colts and Pats this year) or keep him out of field (Chargers this year).
