we didn't HAVE to pay him more because he WANTS the job badly. We also had to pay over $1M for his buyout. I'm sure his contract is LOADED with performance incentives

looks like he turned the job down and is heading to Oregon. I think Gene Chizik is the next target and would be a great hire for DC
