Have some buddies down in College Station that hear that Johnny Football is strongly considering staying for another year.
This could considerably change the landscape.

he is not ready for the NFL mentally or physically.

As long as the proclamation of him being the next Favre dies, I'm fine with it.

kid should stay and enjoy being in the limelight for another year.
no way he lasts the full season in the nfl with all that running and jumping in and out of the pocket.

Agreed.
I am sure Texan's keep him well compensated for his time at TAMU anyway.
Big man on campus for another year vs. being exposed.

Not sure he can raise his draft stock by staying. May as well go get that payday

I think this guys trajectory is a lot more like Tebow. Some asshole team will pick him whenever he comes out, and he will get paid well.
No reason to leave the last place he will be a super star.

Get paid?? Manziel doesn't need money! The oil money his family has trumps any football contract. He grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and couldn't care less about money. It's not like Bridgewater that grew up dirt poor in the ghettos of Miami.

Very poor RB class this year. Everything I've read suggests there might not be one taken until the 20's. Too many good lineman, WR and QB in this draft. Cleveland can get a quality QB

KaDeem Carey is the best RB by a mile, and at best there are 40 other players projected before him.
RB's value are nothing right now. 2nd rd at earliest, unless Cleveland were to snag a RB at 4 - otherwise it's 2nd rd.

Opie--- tell your buddies down in College Station they're piss drunk.
As a matter of fact, I'll wager something that in the next 10 days, he'll announce RJ Gonser as his agent, or at the very least someone out of CAA's FA.
And even if he did come back---
So what?
A&M still can't stop anyone.

I agree that he's gone. Can't imagine any upside to him returning.
I think for Aggie fans this is most likely wishful thinking. I'm a longhorn. Couldn't give a fukk what he does.

NO FUKKIN CHANCE
Will NEVER happen.
Stock can only go down, he'd be at risk to lose millions.
Will be a massive flop in the NFL, but will still leave the game having made some money.
