Aub/FSU: ML seems incredibly low for a 10/10.5 pt spread

Even with the spread moving up to 10-10.5, the ML has hovered right around +300 at Pinny, fluctuating from +286 to +320.

Shouldn't this ML be closer to +350? Does this mean sharps are essentially split on FSU big or Auburn outright?

i believe auburn is a bigger public play .. bet percentages say so, especially on the moneyline. over 70% on ML, 60% on spread.

Books have 1000-1 futures out on auburn right now that could bury them if the don't get ml action on fsu. What the books do in an attempt to hedge the futures is offer fsu ml at a discount say -275 or so and offer the auburn money line at a less enticing number like +300 on a +10 spread! Sharps jump on the reduced fsu ml all the time because that's where they are getting value. If u see low numbers at particular books and not at others, this is usually why. They have a lot of futures they have to cover and by offering a low +ml aub and/or a reduced -ml for fsu this will get money on the fsu ml and help hedge any futures if auburn wins.

I specifically referenced Pinny odds in the OP. Those odds are -10 -115/+102. Most shops are at -10.5. So either way you slice it, the ML would typically be in the +360s range.

For a long time Auburn was +8 and ML +220 at one book. That is out of line. I took -260 on Fla State max money & now can get +335 with Auburn. Your correct the pointspread indicated that the moneyline would soar!

Many people have parlays closing in on FSU ML since it's the only game tonight. So they are is a lot of hedging going on with Auburn ML that's why it is lower than it should. It has nothing to do with sharps.
