Watched the end there. KU had many chances but couldn't convert.

SDSU are really good make no mistake. Consider Kan got most of any call that was a coin flip.

Lol, Kansas lost AGAIN?
Wiggins is very overhyped.
Parker, Randle, and Gordon are all better than that guy.

Wiggins is weird. He's an NBA type player, but his motor is broken. I doubt millions and even more pandering help. He needs to find his drive in basketball, or he will be another could-have-been story.
Kid is the most physically gifted player since LeBron.
My top picks are still:
1) Randle
2) Parker
3) Gordon
4) Embid
5) Wiggins/Smart
Somewhere in the lottery of 2014 is the 6th man on Arizona. I think he can easily have the best pro career. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. Scouts are raving over this kid. Most under-hyped freshman in the country.

They really are. Well coached, and a ton of accumulated talent - older accumulated talent with the same growth curve that Kentucky is perceived to have.
SDSU is not as talented as Kentucky, but their talent are men already. Their growth might be more than any team in the country by years end.
Crazy that the the game at SDSU might be Arizona's best win of the non-conference. Glad we got them early.

I wonder if Wiggins's 180 million dollar shoe deal from Adidas is still on the table.

Most likely. He still has a ton of value in the NBA. Guy is a top 5 talent, even if he were to injure himself.

I know a lot of people dislike Coach K, but the coaches I really dislike are Bill Self and Calipari.

Coach K gets a bad rap, because of his abuse of officials.
Self gets a bad rap, because he's an egotistical asshat.
Calipari gets a bad rap, because he cheated his way to where he is.
All of them are great coaches. I say they are great, as I've been to mutliple practices of both Coach K and Calipari. Only have second hand knowledge of how Self runs his practice, but I truly believe Self to be the best coach in the game today.
All of them are incredible coaches, but even more so - they're all life mentors. Shockingly enough, Coach Cal probably being the most fitting to be called a life mentor. Guy is incredible to watch simply stop a practice, and give out fantastic advice for both career and life prosperity.
Izzo is another one. Not so much a life mentor, but his coaching is relentless. Piss him off, and practice will be shut down until the requisite amount of spit is in each player who fukked up faces.

I'd take Izzo over a couple of those coaches.. he does more with less talent.

I've watched a lot of practices, and I've never seen anyone go from calm to homicidal maniac like Izzo.
I imagine it only rivals bob knight.

I told ya'll from early on that san diego st. no team to be taken likely in the tourney this year, cause they can have a legit chance to win it all if chips fall right way.
my fav to win tourney would be arizona, then the dark horse would be sdsu

Never seen a Frank Martin practice before. Have talked with him at a few AAU events, and the guy seems to only look scary. Really a nice guy with almost zero intensity, except for his damned face. That said, Izzo is actually really calm in practice. He kinda just hangs back and watches and lets practice happen. It's only when kids keep fukking up that he turns into a literal monster. I was waiting for Izzo to punch the kid the first time I've seen it.
I agree with your idea that Wiggins will be way better in the league than college. Athleticism can be dealt with and schemed against in college. Size of the paint, 3 point arch, etc being the reason.
To use a very recent example, MCW. The guy was good in college, for sure, but he has blossomed since getting to the league due to the extra spacing.
Wiggins is a top 5 pick, and if he slips the people who didn't pick him will be regretting it later.
