Buckeyes had two timeouts left, Clemson snapping the ball with 31 seconds left on 2nd and long.
Call TO at third down, call TO at fourth down and hope for a miracle with more than 20 seconds left.

Just went back and looked, you are correct. ESPN was showing two TOs left, but in fact OSU had just one remaining, which explains things.
