Funny how GT cranks out NFL receivers now. Tech is in the middle of the recruiting Mecca of college football. They have high academic standards but should be able to pull enough talent to not have to run a gimmick offense.

yeah.. vad wants to eventually play in the nfl and throwing it 8 times a game isnt exactly gonna get scouts calling your name.. cant say i blame him, but johnson will never be able to recruit a top notch qb with that offense.

not sure why he doesnt go to a more spread option attack, he can still keep triple option principals but still have a passing game in case they do get down early

The whole bowl thing is a joke anymore.. Bowl games use to have meaning now they really arent anything more than a glorified scrimmage, between coaches bouncing, players not caring just get ready for the league or whatever.. bowl games just dont have the same pop that they had 10-20-30 years ago

He also won several titles at Georgia Southern. They did win the ACC title with him and played for it a few times. They've had a few lemons at QB over the years. Reggie Ball, Bilbo Baggins or whatever his name was. He needs to get a Nick Marshall away from a school like UGA where he was going to play DB. I think Marshall actually wanted to be a Db at the time, but same premise. Find an athlete and offer him at Qb where these other schools would move him to a Wr or Db. Georgia is right up there with Florida & California in terms of cranking out college football talent. No place in the country has more big recruits than Atlanta.

I live in Atlanta---all schools in southeastern US recruit Georgia---Auburn owns west Georgia---FSU extreme south Ga.---Tenn could not field a team without Georgia players---S. Carolina and Clemson get their share. Plenty of good basketball, and baseball players too.
