A few reasons. But the most important is that Mizzou is more physical at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The Mizzou DL's run stopping ability between the tackles with minimal personnel committed is the key to their whole defense as it allows them to double up on receivers and force opposing QBs to make throws into tighter windows. This will take away much of the Cowboys biggest advantage in their big recievers. OSU doesn't really run block all that well, and I think this mismatch is going to push OSU into a more one-dimensional style of play, resulting in Chelf falling behind the chains and being forced to throw more 2nd/3rd & long passes to sustain drives. Very tough to do against an opportunistic defensive backfield like the Tigers'.
