why the #1 seed Broncos chose Sunday vs Saturday playoff games
The #1 seed traditonally plays Saturday but the Broncos wanted Sunday instead. Fox is claiming the team plays better on a set schedule. The 3 losses Denver had this year were all prime time games which is one of the reasons they are playing Sunday. The real reason, Denver went 13-3 in 1996 and 13-3 in 2013 as the #1, lost both times in shocking fashion. And lastly, there's zero chance Manning will be chucking the ball up in ice cold conditions like last year.

It really doesn't matter in the end but Whatever makes them feel better. In 1998, they had no problem with playing as the one seed on Saturday.

I think that was a bright move for Denver. It gives them a day to see all the other teams get eliminated first and they don't get over confident like last year.

This seems like nonsense. Never heard of teams getting to choose. Source?

Gives the Chiefs more time to rest and Manning more time to get old dumb move

Hopefully it's KC, since the Broncos match up well against them. If the Chefs can't beat Denver up 21-7 at home, zero chance they will win in Denver. Plus Welker and Julius Thomas were both not playing in at the same time in any of those games. Will be a much easier win for the Broncos the 3rd time.
