That 4th down call was stolen from the Joe Paterno playbook....what the hell was he thinking of bashing head on into that defense thinking that he was going to push them back at least a yard? At least try to spread them out...good Lord he's going to get crushed with that play callComment -
entire second half bad play calling run on first and second down right up the middle every time and same result. Run a reverse one time and big play throw deep and big play. Stubborn to a fault and cost his team a chance to win.
Also 5 minutes to play and 4 and 3 you have to go for it down 7. I hated that decision. MSU played great but Stanford played right into their strength.Comment -

I wasn't too put off by the clock management, but continuing to run was just plain stupid. There really is no excuse for it. What i s really frustrating is against Utah when the power run was dominating he insisted on passing the last 2 downs and blew that game as well. sigh.Comment -
