Does anyone have any on the ground reports? I read that licensing of growers hasn't began and early adopters are only being allowed to do one-time transfer from their medical marijuana stashes? We are heading east tonight or early tomorrow and will be passing through with the hope that the Mile-High City isn't dry...

The report from CNN that I read yesterday said that 160+ people have applied for licenses but only 40 or so are going to be able to start operation on Wednesday (well, today). If you have a Colorado ID then you can buy an OZ. Out of state ID and you can buy 1/4 OZ. I guess most of the shops will be in Denver and there are some towns that passed laws forbidding recreational pot stores (Colorado Springs, I think is one)

You are absolutely correct..you can get it anywhere for that price, but out there you can get top shelf for 35 an eighth....25 for mids.....60 will get ya some nice bho/wax...some shatter...some places out there have 2 zip specials for 3 bills....its a vacation paradise!...

It's almost 1,800 miles from NYC to Denver. Probably take you 26-27 hours driving. I drove from Boston to Denver and it took 33

Unless you are a resident with a state issued ID they will only sell you a quarter ounce at a time. One ounce is for in-staters. Rest assured that legalization will be spreading to more states rapidly throughout the rest of this decade. I Expect Alaska, Oregon, and California to vote it in soon and some of the northeastern states, like New Hampshire and Maine, to legalize through their legislatures in the near future. I think Michigan is ripe for a ballot measure too.
