It's going to be funny if Texas gets bum rushed by other schools for a guy like Franklin or Strong. Penn State supposedly has Franklin as their #1 target if O'Brien goes to the Texans. I really think Strong should stay at Louisville - he seems like the Petersen type, good fit for a smaller school that can be the fly in the ointment and he won't have to deal with any pressure. I don't see why Fisher would leave. Much like Malzhan. Fisher can write his own ticket at FSU for whatever dollar amount he wants. Best Texas would do is match, so why would you want to have to start from the bottom and build up when you've built FSU into a top tier program again? I also don't see why Briles would leave a place that has ponied up to pay him and built a new stadium.

I really think Texas may have to go with an unconventional hire or they will drastically overpay someone like Franklin or Strong.
