well because they will be empty seats

that's cuz they jacked up face value to $120 or so with fees, for a family of 4 like mine that's around $500 just to squeeze in with a bunch of fat drunks on a bench with no room/no backrest/etc. the seats were designed back when people were a lot smaller and without big puffy jackets.

that said, me and my son are probably going anyway. i complain but come on it's 49ers/packers in the playoffs!

I wish they were almost free. Good thing I still had $277 left on that SW giftcard I got from SBR a while back. Helped absorb the blow. Was 20 degrees on forecast when I booked. I can man up for 3 hours. Won't be as bad as the ice bowl....where official tried to blow the whistle to open play and it stuck to his lips. Pulled it off and tore skin...then blood froze on his lips. Needless to say no more whistles were used.

Might have to make my first SBR vid for this.

I really like the under. Usually I don't take temperatures into account when making a pick, but when you see a temperature projected to be THIS cold, then you begin to wonder. When it's 10-below zero with a windchill of 30-below....and that's what some meteorologists are calling for......it has an effect on the game. It's harder to catch the ball...it's harder to hang on to the ball...the turf gets icy. It's going to be an issue, maybe moreso for San Fran. The coldest game in NFL history is -13...some say this may break the all-time record.

This could be a lot like the Giants-Packers NFC Champ. from 2007 when the temperature was 1 degree at kickoff (which is actually going to be warmer than this game) and it ended up being a very low scoring game. It's going to be very difficult for the passing game.

They just said a high of -7 on ESPN (Pedro Gomez)....and it's going to be dropping as the game goes on since it's a late afternoon, early evening game. So it could hit the Ice Bowl record if the projections hold up.....which they never do. haha

Giant I was born in Oslo, Norway. Moved to the States when I was 5. But since I can't recall being in below zero weather.

Spent an hour training in a walk in freezer last night. Feel ready.

Might being a small fridge to keep some beer warm.

tatddy, try and get some hand warmers, you activate them and slip them inside your gloves or leather mittens etc, and some for inside your boots too. They make all the difference.

You should be able to get them at any Wisconsin hardware store.

You simply shake them to get them started. They heat up and will last around the length of the game. There's some compound inside that gives off heat after the original agitation.

They're inexpensive and easy to use.
