Daniel signed a three-year, $13.05 million deal with the Detroit Lions in March, according to ESPN’s Field Yates. Daniel is set to make $4.35 million annually.

Chase Daniel is my hero. $34 mil in career earnings before this contract and in 7 of 11 seasons made fewer than 10 pass attempts. The dude MUST be really QB-smart to keep getting paid. He is the epitome of getting paid for what he knows, not what he does. Future coach for sure.
