NCAA Basketball - Who Ever Heard of Morgan St. or Georgia St.? (12/29/13)

Yea there is a lot of NFL football to be played today but don't overlook college hoops. Two plays stood out to me as heavy favorites but I think have a legit chance of hitting. Not even sure why ECU only were 3 point favorites at home against a crappy Georgia State school....no suspensions or injuries of any notable importance.

So yea....I guess if you have at least an 1000 combined on your SAT's as a high school student you can always get into one of these prestigious schools - Morgan State or Georgia State. But don't expect the quality of your education to be any good nor the sports programs they run.

With that said two NCAA -Ball plays stick out to me today:


Oregon (-24) vs. Morgan State

ECU (-3) vs. Georgia State

The Oregon Ducks run a high tempo, fast paced offense and Morgan State usually gets killed against ranked opponents on the road. ECU is off to a 10-2 start taking on a Georgia State team less than mediocre on their best day....at home I'll take ECU to cover three points anytime.

Take these two the the bank. Happy holidays to all (non-trolls) out there in SBR land.

Because of two player RJ Hunter and Ryan Harrow which are an excellent 1-2 punch especially with R J coming on as of late. I think Georgia st wins by 5.

I think morgan state covers +24.5

ECU vs Georgia State already started, but all the steam was on Georgia State so I would love to have been on them at +3 or +2, somehow missed that one though.

Doesn't the coach adjust the gameplan and say this isn't our day shooting wise so let's stop taking threes hahaha

Sad thing is that I am having a terrible run and I tailed you on Oregon.....at -24 and they were leading by 26 with 31 seconds to go.....and finish up with a 21 point win to chalk up a pretty big loss for me.
