His stupid jerk off ass is going to be fired within hours after the game. The Lions will rid themselves of the cancer known as Jim Schwartz. Guy probably won't even get a defensive coordinator gig and will have to take a year or two off or go to some desperate mid level college team.

    Puke down that losers throat.

I hope your right. But the way the Lions operate it would not surprise me if they keep him.

Gym Shorts is only PART of the problem. The Lions have no secondary, no linebackers, a thug lineman and only one viable WR (albeit, the best in the game) and a QB that wants to just call his own game and be a gunslinger.

If they can get some help in these areas then they can compete with the Packers every year in that division.

He's not getting fired. Coaches always take the blame for shitty dumbass teams.

If he does get fired Schwartz will have a new job in no time

He should get fired but look how long Ford kept Millen around he might not want to eat all of the money he owes Schwartz

If you aren't on Minnesota -2.5 something is wrong with you. They are giving money away tomorrow.

Detroit's heads aren't into it... they don't care. Calvin Johnson won't play. Game is useless for Detroit... but Minnesota's head coach needs this.

He's not going anywhere. Ford is not going to eat $12 million bucks. Christ, he's probably still paying those idiots Millen and Mariucci. Probably both coordinators will be gone as sacrificial lambs.. Linehan for sure. From what I've seen, Stafford is a bigger issue than the coaching though. Also, this team is not as 'talented' as they are made out to be....poor defensive backs, bad linebackers (except for Levy) and no pass rush from the edges. None of the receivers after Johnson have any business on a NFL roster either, unless you count Ross- the returner who they picked up off the scrap heap mid-season.

Linehan should be fired, he's had years to develop Stafford and it just isn't working.

I agree that DET badly needs WR depth. It needs to be a high priority in the off season.

On defense, Lions could use another impact DE, but so could every team in the NFL. Ziggy Ansah has had a great rookie year and will only get better and better. Same with LBs, Tulloch and Levy are solid and just entering their prime, but they could use some more depth and another impact LB. In the secondary, Delmas & Quinn are solid and just entering their prime and Mathis, Houston & Slay should be good enough going forward. I'm not a fan of worrying about the secondary a whole lot, I'd rather invest in guys that can pressure the QB up front. The Lions already have an excellent core on defense, they just need another impact guy or two and more depth.

An upside down janitor's mop could have went 12-4 with this Lions team. Schwartz is a joke.

@AdamSchefter: League sources said Lions ownership is “on the fence” about HC Jim Schwartz’s job status but it is “leaning towards keeping him.”
Not buying it. I'd bet large he's gone.

Why wait until tomorrow with a performance like that? They held out Megatron to avoid a chance to win one for the Swartzer.

They should have fired that jerk off last year.
