cam newton has never played a playoff game in the nfl> i think peyton manning has played around 20 off them and lost more than he has won. its called past data.

take that into consideration when you remember that for most SB teams that get it done... they have to have their offense carry the load and pick up the team at least one time in a playoff run...how is Cam going to react in that situation

last time i checked sf played 2 more games after they beat gb. they scored 59 points in those two games.

They have one decent road win (at SF), and Cam did very little in that game.

Awful at New Orleans.

Otherwise, he beat Tampa, Minnesota and Miami (didn't play well there either). Road losses at Buffalo and Arizona (blown out). Carolina has scored 23 or fewer points in five of their seven road games.

Cam has become a great game manager. He can make a big play when
he needs to but he is not forcing throws this year...

If he don't see it then he scrambles or throws it away.

This year he is not throwing costly INT's and he is giving his great defense

I don't agree with this at all, but we'll see. I suppose you could point to their garbage secondary. I highly doubt a kid who hasn't paid his dues in the playoffs is suddenly going to take a team to the Super Bowl.
