New England Patriots Always Blow teams out in Week 17
Is it me or does it seem like every year the Patriots win
in blowout fashion in week 17????

Regardless of whether or not its a meaningless game the Patriots
always come to play in week 17.

Patriots -9 at -105 is looking mighty tempting.

anybody got stats on this trend?

Patriots are actually playing for a lot here. If the patriots win they at least clinch themselves a first round bye. If the patriots win coupled with a broncos loss then they clinch the 1 overall seed. If the patriots lose and the bengals win then the bengals clinch the first round bye and 2 seed. If the patriots lose and bengals lose and the colts win then the colts clinch the 2 seed and first round bye. As you can see bear the patriots actually have a lot to play for. They definitely want the first round bye and home field for at least the divisional round.
