OK, Syracuse is practically on their level, but those other two wins are better than any wins Bowling Green had during the regular season, and the Notre Dame win is probably better than BGSU's win over Northern Illinois in MAC Championship. Pitt faced an SOS ranked 32nd in the country, Bowling Green SOS ranked 124th.

And Bowling Green may have already played their bowl game, they were probably more jacked up about keeping undefeated NIU out of the BCS than they are for a mid-level ACC team in the actual bowl.

Utah State defense is better than any NIU has seen all year. Yes, Utah State QBs have sucked since Keeton went down, but NIU defense sucks too and Aggies have a pretty good running back in DeMartino.

Utah St will win this game by 10 points or more. I dont care about N illinois' better QB. They have a weak schedule. When they faced a decently good defense they lost.

Ditto. They struggled against weak ass MAC defenses and when they faced BG they got handled. When you see a MAC defense vs a real offense with those big lineman you see them get tossed around. Pitt is gonna bring the hurt.
