Best advice anyone ever gave me was to deposit a small amount($50-$100) and place $5 bets. If you can double that in a months time, then move to $10 bets. If you're still making some kind of profit after that then chances are, you've learned some things and are decent enough to hold your own. Oh, and don't quit your job because sports betting will never pay your bills. It must be a hobby and stay that way.

Your about a decade late. You wont make anything now, lines are too sharp, and if you dont live in Vegas or have a reliable local Withdrawing/Depositing will be a pain in the ass and your book will probably just close up shop one day to U.S customers. Unless you live out of U.S then your golden.

No problem, Players Talk is the jungle. The amount of shit talking and grab assing outweighs the actual sports capping. If you look up at the top of the page, there are individual sport tabs. Those are the sub forums. People are more active/serious in there.
