Ill spend about 10 units all in. That's only because I got twins on the way and need to buy a bunch of stuff for nursery. What do you spend on holiday and how does that compare to a normal day of gambling??

We spend way too much. Every year. And that's even with the fact that my wife and I don't even exchange gifts.

I love buying presents for my daughter, but we really try not to do too much. With her being an only child, it can get downright ridiculous with the amount of crap she gets for Christmas. Especially with all that her grandmother buys.

But it's Christmas...and she's a little kid. So I inevitably say fukk it, and buy her too much anyway.

I think those with kids definitely seem to splurge more. I would say 80% of my spend goes to nieces/nephews, 15% to parents and a couple of small gifts for sister/bro in law.

Excited to have kids - so much more fun to buy for - wife wants me to take up golf so she can have more options for gifts for me - I have every Bear and Gator item she can find so needs more ideas. She is impossible to shop for as well so we can just spend it on kids and both be happy
