I suspect that guys saying they expect SF to go to title game and lose expect that game to be vs. Seattle, but unfortunately that meeting would be in the second round if the 49ers win and the other division winner wins in the wild card round. The only way SF/Sea NFC Championship is possible is if both wild cards win (which could easily happen but is far from guaranteed).
