CIRCLED GAME
A game in which the betting action is severely limited; usually occurs in games that feature key injuries, inclement weather, or unsubstantiated rumors regarding a team; most bookies “circle” all Ivy League Games.
I always see this used about Ivy league. Might be a dumb question but can someone elaborate why Ivy League games are circled. I know what circled means, just unsure as to what's with the Ivy League.

Games have always had small action or no action at all, since ALL players are basically walk ons since there are no Athletic scholarships to Ivy league schools..
