    Can someone answer this
    CIRCLED GAME
A game in which the betting action is severely limited; usually occurs in games that feature key injuries, inclement weather, or unsubstantiated rumors regarding a team; most bookies “circle” all Ivy League Games.

I always see this used about Ivy league. Might be a dumb question but can someone elaborate why Ivy League games are circled. I know what circled means, just unsure as to what's with the Ivy League.

I think because small market teams withow volumes therefore they put smaller limits on them regardless of injuries

It has to do with poison ivy being very itchy for some people, but not for others.

Ivy league schools are for the rich and famous pal..... Games have always had small action or no action at all, since ALL players are basically walk ons since there are no Athletic scholarships to Ivy league schools..

could it be due to the idea that an ivy league kid that is not from a wealthy family would be more likely to be tempted to shave points on a game for $ since they don't even get athletic scholarships?
