Since Kobe back to play,Lakers seems too miserable,thay cant make defence their offense looks horrible and now when Blake is out and Kobe is PG,Lakers could not look more pathetic than that. On the other hand, Cats are having shown great fighting game yesterday against the best team in the league. They were very close to gaining an amazing win but eventually lost by five points. Now they return to their home court and thay hungry for a win, on the main menu waiting poor Lakers.both team in b2b game but once again Lakers in inferior spot,their roster much older than Cats roster so its look like the streak will continues and Lakers will be 0:4 since Kobe return.

Clippers come after the defeat on Thursday in Brooklyn, Doc could not win his former All-Stars and his team was blown up,their offense looked not organized but main problem was in defence. vs the Nets they came b2b,tonight they come after a one day of rest and this should be enough to come up and make hard defance against team like the Wizards that still suffers from missing important players like Nene and Beal,and their offense have difficulty producing points,Clippers shulde keep Wash in 80-85 range IMO and 100-105 points its enough for them.


Miami Heat/Cleveland Cavaliers (Lebron James O 24.5) @ -115 (2x)

LeBron meets up with his old team once again,with Miami had two days to rest. and after losing a very important game against the Pacers and now at home vs one of the weakest team in the NBA,Cleveland.Cavs won yesterday in orlando and get the 2nd win in the road this year(2:10). since LeBron came to Miami,he gave a show almost in every game against the Cavs,last 10 game he played 9 times and score an avg. of 25.7 ppg,in the last 5 game in every one of them he scored more then 24 points(25;30;28;28;28). I expect LeBron to give max effort to win the game and I think he will cover the line.

It would not be surprising to see some of them tired and not so concentrated, although they are high-level professionals but Obradoiro not really concerned them, if they want it or not.

So of course we are likely to see the Real dominate the pace of the game and keep Obradoiro in 55-70 points range,Obradoiro having trouble to score anyway,last five games they score only one time(in 40 min) over 70 points,and i dont think they are able to score in high per. vs Madrid defence.

NBA Dec 16 - Picks

Detroit Pistons/Indiana Pacers (U 194) @ -120 (1x) ; pinnacle

Indiana comes after another victory on Friday night, this time against Charlotte, but unlike what was expected, Indiana had to work very hard before won at the end 99:94. Big reason for this difficulty was a bad evening of Paul George,who scored a season-low 10 points on 2/12 FG. But with good defence in the 2nd half Pacers eventually pull out the win. On the other hand, Detroit comes after losing in overtime yesterday, 111:109 to Portland,they lead by 11 with the 4Q start but they thrown it out and failed to recover the lead in overtime.

The Pacers defense has been the biggest reason for their success. opponents are averaging only 89.5 points on 41.1 percent shooting, with only two clubs scoring more than 87 points at Indiana. Scoring near the basket against Indiana is especially tough, with holding teams to an average of 35.2 points in the paint. Detroit, however,make their points primarily in the paint,scores inside more than any other team at 51.9 points per game in the paint. Pistons came after mostof the players played yesterday over forty minutes and it's going to be a very hard task against Pacers defence,that caome after 1 day of rest and want to play better then they played against Bobcats,so I expect them to play hard as they know and do the same defense that led them to "league-best defense team" and keep this game under the line.

Tonight we have big games but the game that most attracted my attention its Pistons@Rockets game.

Both team in b2b,both suffered painful losses last night but here come into the picture two main differences.
One its that Pistons playing this one at home and Rockets on the other hand travel again this time from Indiana to Detroit. The second difference its that the Rockets will have to manage against Detroit without James Hardan,their biggest GoTo guy and their best player,while Pistons will get back Rodney Stuckey to their back court line and it needs to turning their offence much more effective against the weak defense of Houston.
These two important things make me without any hesitation to pull the trigger on Detroit with a generous hand.

Oly have an advantage in almost every position,the matchup in the back court Oly has a clear advantage with two of the best greek guards Spanoulis vs Diamantidis,Spanoulis is way athletic player,Diamantidis legs are not what they used to be, he barely execute plays on offense, in defense he too slow. under the rim again we see advantage for Oly with Dunston,Begic,Printizis and Simmons agains softy Gist,old Mike Batist,poor Mavrokefalidis and Fotsis.

Last year Pao won in the Final,so I expect even more higher motivation for Oly than it already been.

this game have "some meaning" for both teams,last year Haifa won MTA in the final and take from them the title,this year the first game finish 75:73 to MTA after Hifa missed layup in final sec. I expect that both teams will show hard defence and low shooting percentages. line much higher than it should be,in my opinion it is only because their last game when they scored 90,usually the line should be around 150,Med stake.

This year, they failed to reach the Top 16 when they lost at home with Buzzer Bitter against Malaga in the last round.

After this tragedy their best player Daniel Hackett(PG,33min,13pts,6ast) left to the rival from Milano,and the situation is only getting worse.they were beaten at home against weak Caserta 60:81 after this they lost on the road to Brindisi(Good team) ,Taylor Rochestie (role player) also left the team and than they brought back ex player Matt Janning,and another G' Marquez Haynes,so although they managed to win their last game at home, they still need time to adjust themselves to the team, which in any case is not close to what this club was in recent years.

On the other side arrives Khimky,a team that has a amazing year,lost two of their first three games but since then they didnt stop winning for a moment,18 wins in a row and no one knows when it will end,they cover almost any line this year,they also managed to get a big win over CSKA on the road,and all this time that they show brilliant basketball. Khimky are 1-3 vs Siena but this was on last years when Siena have a edge on them,right now Khimky way better team and has every reason to be extremely motivated to win this game.

Zalgiris Kaunas vs Maccabi Tel Aviv (O150) @ -115 (2x)
